Pros on Eeda add their own license number, and Eeda shows it exactly as they provided it, with the date. Eeda does not check licenses. Every state publishes a free public lookup, and this page takes you to the official one for your state. Search by the pro's name or license number, and make sure the license is active and is the right kind for your job.

In some states, general contractors are licensed by the city or county rather than the state. Those rows say so; your local building department can confirm a contractor there.
